The Blue Ribbon of the Music Center recently hosted members and guests at a dinner and private showing of “Cave Temples of Dunhuang: Buddhist Art on China’s Silk Road” at the J. Paul Getty Museum. The exhibit runs through Sunday, Sept. 4 and features a gallery display, replica caves and a virtual immersive experience. Marcia Reed, chief curator and associate director of special collections and exhibitions for the J. Paul Getty Museum was guest speaker.
