The city of Beverly Hills recently painted high visibility crosswalks near all Beverly Hills public schools to increase pedestrian safety. Prior to every school year, the city refreshes the crosswalks with new paint. This year, “continental bars” were added to enhance the crosswalks adjacent to schools. The painted lines provide greater visibility because motorists are able to see them from further away. For information, visit www.beverlyhills.org.
