Officers from the Beverly Hills Police Department arrested two suspects on Aug. 18 who allegedly robbed a clothing store in the 300 block of North Beverly Drive.

The robbery occurred at approximately 6 p.m. at Robin’s Jean Store. One male and one female suspect entered the store, grabbed clothing and attempted to flee. One of the suspects hit an employee who attempted to stop them.

The suspect fled in a white Dodge Charger. Employees called police, and officers located a vehicle matching the description of the suspects’ vehicle near Beverly Drive and Gregory Way. A brief pursuit occurred and the suspects crashed into a parked vehicle near Gregory Way and Spalding Drive.

The suspects fled on foot and officers set up a perimeter. A short time later, officers found and arrested the suspects. They were identified as Demartel Williams, 26, and Amber Westbrooks, 25, both of Las Vegas. Formal charges are pending, said Lt. Lincoln Hoshino, with the Beverly Hills Police Department.
