The Los Angeles Zoo presents an evening of fun for all ages at “Family Jam at the L.A. Zoo” on Saturday, July 9 at 6 p.m. The theme for the event is “Dinos, Dragons & Dancing.” It includes music, dancing, food trucks, up-close encounters with the zoo’s smaller residents, after-hours viewing of animal exhibits and more.

Spotlighting Disney’s upcoming theatrical release of “Pete’s Dragon,” visitors can follow clues in search of gifts, take a family photo and view the zoo’s resident Komodo and bearded dragons (pictured). Enjoy karaoke, a DJ dance party, crafts and games, a paint party and the “Dinosaurs: Unextinct at the L.A. Zoo” exhibit.
