Yamashiro, under its new operators BNG Group and Sugar Factory, has plans for a renovated sushi bar, robata grill, teppanyaki grill and a new lounge. The lounge combines old Hollywood glamour with modern sleekness. Original 100-year-old doors are used for the back-lit ceiling and a gold chandelier from the former outdoor summer home now lights up the room.  Additionally, TCL Chinese Theatres has partnered with BNG and Sugar Factory to host special events coinciding feature film premieres. The partners also plan to eventually bring back the popular Yamashiro Farmers’ Market, which ended a year ago. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m., weekdays, and 5 p.m. to midnight, weekends. 1999 N.
