Applications are being accepted for the Ford Theatres Partnership Program, which supports Los Angeles County nonprofit arts organizations, independent producers and producing collectives.
Through the program, performances are co-produced and co-presented in the 1,200-seat John Anson Ford Amphitheatre as part of Ford Theatres’ summer season. The partnership program offers a shared risk/revenue model, marketing and production support, and skill building. Participants are selected through a competitive application process. Performances reflect the cultural and artistic diversity of Los Angeles County. Shows selected will be part of the 2017 Ford Theatres summer season running June through October next year.
Program guidelines and application instructions are available at www.fordtheatres.org/opportunities. Applications must be submitted to www.lacounty.culturegrants.org by Aug. 24.
Ford Theatres staff members are also available to answer questions, by appointment. For information, call (323)856-5793, or email fordtheatres@arts.lacounty.gov.
The Ford Theatres is owned by the Los Angeles County and operated through a partnership between the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Ford Theatre Foundation. For information, visit www.FordTheatres.org.
