On July 15, the “Share Our Stories” program at the Los Angeles Museum of the Holocaust (LAMOTH) concluded its second annual collaboration with the L.A. Unified School District (LAUSD) initiative iConnect Beyond the Bell.
iConnect Beyond the Bell works with community organizations throughout the Los Angeles area to create a shared space that makes learning opportunities visible and accessible to LAUSD students and parents. Programs are either free or low cost.
This summer’s program at LAMOTH reached 350 seventh and eighth graders, and provided them with the opportunity to learn from Holocaust Survivors and reflect on their experiences through art projects.
