Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and City Councilman David Ryu, 4th District, and other city officials are inviting community members who want to volunteer and help beautify Western Avenue.

Volunteers will help paint murals, pick up litter and prune street landscaping.

Those who want to participate are encouraged to meet at Melrose and Western Avenues at 8:30 a.m. on June 11.
