The 2016 Dances with Films Festival is inviting film enthusiasts June 2-12  to share in the celebration of independent film at the TLC Chinese Theater at 6925 Hollywood Blvd.

The red carpet for Susan Sassi’s ‘Cathy in Real Life’ starts at 3:30 p.m., and the film will start at 6:15 p.m. The film, which is a live-action parody of the beloved Cathy comic strip, is about a boisterous chocaholic who struggles to revamp her image and become a feminist.
