Officers with the Los Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department arson investigators are searching for a suspect who threw an incendiary device into a Melrose Avenue clothing store on June 6 owned by the Kardashians.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:20 p.m. at DASH, located at 8420 Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood. A witness called 911 to report that he saw a male suspect throw an object through a glass front door. The store’s alarm was activated notifying authorities at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station.
Deputies and firefighters arrived and found a “smoldering object” inside the store. Firefighters removed and secured the object. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Katrina Flores said authorities are not disclosing what type of incendiary device was used.
The device did not fully ignite. Damage was limited to broken glass and floor tiles. Investigators are checking surveillance cameras to determine if the suspect’s image was captured on video. No arrests were made.
