Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles (JFS) held its 23rd annual gala on Monday, May 23, honoring the hosts of CBS’s talk show “The Talk.” The Gala was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and emceed by special guest James Corden, host of “The Late Late Show.” Proceeds from the event benefitted the 100,000 men, women, and children who utilize JFS support services including shelter, counseling, and nutrition.
JFS honored the hosts of “The Talk” – Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, and Sheryl Underwood – with the JFS Spirit of Humanity Award for their outstanding commitments to those in need and their unique ability to motivate and inspire others.
In addition, Lindsey Rosin Passman and Josh Passman, along with Alixandra Liiv, received the JFS Stanley and Anita Hirsh Award for their dedication to the JFS Young Leaders Program and their commitment to volunteerism, philanthropy, and service.
