A Noise Within (ANW), a classical repertory theater company based in Pasadena, presents “Summer With Shakespeare,” a five-week summer camp from June 13 to July 15.

The camp for children 6-18 meets Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities help children stay active and teaches them new skills while the children have fun. The conservatory-style program includes acting, improvisation, stage diction, text analysis, kinetic exercises and stage combat. Classically trained professional actors, choreographers and designers lead the sessions.

“Summer With Shakespeare” participants gain an appreciation of the Bard’s verse and are exposed to classic plays. The camp challenges them to become scholars and performers of Shakespeare, enhancing acting and public speaking skills and building self-confidence while offering experience in theater craft.
