Pilgrim School presents “The Wizard of Oz” on April 21 and 22 at 6:30 p.m. in Stuart Hall.

Legendary Hollywood singing teacher to the stars Seth Riggs, 85, and his wife and teaching partner Margareta Svensson Riggs, above, shared their expertise with the cast.

Seth Riggs has taught Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Barbra Streisand. Margareta Svensson Riggs has performed at the openings of five Las Vegas casino-resorts, ship inaugurations in Europe, and for superstars such as Paul McCartney, Tom Jones and KISS.

“To learn singing technique directly from Seth Riggs, the way superstars have learned from him for decades, is a treat beyond imagination,” said Dr. Sheryl Cohen, early education and elementary director for Pilgrim School and producer of the school’s production of “The Wizard of Oz.”

“While our director, Linda Miller, leads our 80-member cast through rehearsals on stage, Seth and Margareta get to work with the main characters one on one,” Cohen added.
