MOCA Grand Avenue presents a performance as part of its “Monument” series on Thursday, April 7 at 6 p.m. Inspired by Dan Flavin’s artwork “’monument’ for V. Tatlin”(1969), the yearlong series includes performances by Los Angeles-based musicians and sound artists in MOCA’s permanent collection. Considering the acoustics of the Grand Avenue galleries, “Monument” pairs musicians with specific pieces and galleries to enhance the viewer’s experience. Metal Rouge and Palmbomen II will perform on April 7.
