The Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles (KCCLA) presents “Cultural Identity,” an exhibit running Friday, March 25 through April 7. The group show includes works by artists Theresa Hwang, Mark Hyun, Young Shin Kim, MeeJung Lee, La Somine and Janet Yoo. “As an immigrant, it is difficult to continue being an artist. Therefore the works of these artists have been chosen to share their perception of the United States and France through Korean eyes and their continuous yearning to share their art with everyone,” said Nak Jung Kim, director of KCCLA. The exhibition is open to the public and an opening reception will be held on Friday, March 25 at 7 p.m. in KCLA’s second floor art gallery. KCCLA is located at 5505 Wilshire Blvd. For information, call (323)936-7141, or visit
