Volunteer Ministers of Southern California will hold its second annual Hollywood Community Disaster Preparedness Fair on Saturday, Feb. 27 from noon to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of the Church of Scientology Los Angeles.

Information and free workshops on emergency preparedness, first aid, CPR and self defense will be offered. The family-oriented fair will have a bounce house, petting zoo and a photo booth. Local restaurants will participate. Raffle drawings will be held in which attendees can win home emergency kits, backpacks and an iPad Mini 4. Proceeds from the raffle support Family Promise, a nonprofit organization helping get homeless families.
