Children living at the Alexandria House domestic violence shelter near Sixth Street and Normandie Avenue got sweet surprises last week when the nonprofit Present Now hosted a Valentine’s Day party and gave the children personalized gift boxes.
Each child received a gift box with an educational toy.

Non-resident children from the Alexandria House after school care program enjoyed a party for the children who are residents. Children who live at the shelter (not pictured) were given Valentine’s Day gifts from the nonprofit Present Now.
