The Autry Museum of the American West recently held the 25th annual American Indian Arts Marketplace in honor of Native American arts and culture. The event featured 200 artists representing more than 40 tribes. The Marshall McKay and Sharon Rogers-McKay Juried Competition awarded 22 prizes in 11 categories, as well as a Best of Show prize, which was awarded to Lora A. and Robert U. Sandroni, and the Jackie Autry Purchase Award, which was presented to Glenda McKay for her basketry work (pictured).

Native American artists displayed and sold sculpture, pottery, beadwork, basketry, photography, paintings, jewelry, textiles, wooden carving and mixed media works. The event also featured cultural presentations and artist demonstrations on the beauty of Native cultures.
