Silverado Beverly Place offers a brain fitness program called The Loft for individuals diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI), also known as early-stage dementia. Participants in The Loft have access to classes, social outings, workshops and resources to promote brain health.

Members of the public are invited to an open house on Dec. 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Silverado Beverly, located at 330 N. Hayworth Ave. Attendees will get a first look at a new independent living offering coming soon to the facility.

Silverado created The Loft at Beverly Place to serve people who are not currently living in one of its memory care communities. The Loft builds on Silverado’s Nexus program for residents, which is based on six areas of research showing that there may be ways to prevent or slow the progression of dementia.
