The original Farmers Market, corner of Third and Fairfax, will host the Salvation Army’s annual “Kettle Kick-Off” on Monday, Nov. 23 from 5 to 6 p.m. on the Market Plaza.

The event signals the beginning of the Salvation Army’s annual red kettle holiday collection campaign. Television personality Lisa Guerrero will host the show, which includes musical star Heavenly Joy, “red kettle fun” with KKLA’s Frank Sontag, the Salvation Army Brass Band, the Claremont Carolers, U.S. Marine’s Toys for Tots, a holiday toy drive and a Christmas tree lighting.
