The Annenberg Space for Photography and explore.org invite visitors on a polar expedition using a live cam to experience the Arctic, running through March 20.
Guests can spend time immersed in experience booths where live cam screens feature the sights and sounds of polar bear migration. The booths offer informational facts about the live cam installations.
Guests can also pose inside an Arctic-inspired photobooth featuring a representation of a life-size polar bear amid swirling snow. They are encouraged to post their photographs on social media by tagging #explorepearls on Instagram and Twitter.
The “Pearls of the Planet” live cam experience complements the Annenberg Space for Photography’s ongoing exhibition “LIFE: A Journey Through Time,” which features a photographic interpretation of life on Earth from the Big Bang to the present by acclaimed National Geographic photographer Frans Lanting.
The Annenberg Space for Photography Skylight Studios is located at 10050 Constellation Blvd. For information, visit www.annenbergphotospace.org.
