Featuring a chilling lineup up of five monster-movie horror classics on the roof of The Montalbán, the Rooftop Film Club will present Halloween Week beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27.
“The Thing” kicks off the weeks of thrillers, followed by a screening of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” on Oct. 28. Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho” will be screened on Oct. 29, and “Friday the 13th” on Friday, Oct. 30. On Halloween night, the screenings become a bit more comical with Michael Keaton in “Beetlejuice.”
Barman Brady Weise, from Der Rathskeller and 1886 Bar, will craft specialty Halloween cocktails to go with each frightening feature film of the evening.
Additionally, blood red sangria topped with fresh fruit will be served over ice, and a selection of IPA, Hefeweizen and Lager Beers will be offered. Champagne and red, white and rosé wines will be served by the glass. Haché LA will grill their popular burgers and sides and serve dessert.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and screening time is at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
