A 28-year-old defendant has pleaded not guilty to charges that he sprayed-painted anti-vaccination graffiti in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and locations near Interstate 10.
Marlon Brian Andrino, 29, of Ontario, was charged on Aug. 14 with three felony counts of vandalism with over $400 damage.
Andrino is accused of spray-painting the message, “4 Every Kid Afflicted A Public Figure Will Die SB277” on freeway onramps, West Hollywood City Hall and the Beverly Hills Visitor’s Center on July 2. SB 277 is legislation recently signed into California law mandating vaccinations for children.
Andrino was ordered to return to court on Sept. 14. He faces a possible maximum sentence of four years and four months in county jail.
The case was investigated by the Beverly Hills Police Department.
