Eight leaders of the Los Angeles interior design scene will host a series of themed dinner parties benefiting PAWS/LA during a “Design the Night” event on Saturday, Sept. 26.
The event will open the designers’ private homes, studios or favorite restaurants for a one-night citywide event that will give guests a glimpse behind the curtain at the artists’ creative process.
Founded in 1989, PAWS/LA is a Los Angeles-based non-profit agency dedicated to preserving the healing benefits of animal companionship for low-income elderly and those debilitated by life-threatening illness.
The main event joins forces of interior designer Chris Barrett with Emmy Award winning production company Hazy Mills Productions to host a garden party at the private home of actor Sean Hayes. Gary Gibson, an award-winning designer and alumni of UCLA’s School of Interior Design, will also play host to “A Taste of Mexico” in his Miracle Mile studio.
Cutler, Barrett and Gibson will be joined by fellow designers Annette English, David Dalton, Jeffrey Hitchcock, Philip Nimmo and Woodson & Rummerfield, who will host independent dinners in their own homes.
Tickets are $200. For more information about Design the Night, visit www.pawsla.org.
