California Senate President pro Tempore Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles), Chair of the Senate Rules Committee, has announced the following appointments by the Rules Committee:

Delbra Richardson Price, a Democrat from Los Angeles, has been appointed to the California Cultural and Historical Endowment.

Chelsea Esquibias, a Democrat from Bakersfield, has been appointed to the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.

Bhavna Shamasunder, PH.D., a Democrat from Los Angeles, has been appointed to the Board of Registered Nursing.

The Honorable Benjamin Allen, a Democrat from Los Angeles, has been appointed to the State Public Works Board. Senator Allen currently represents the 26th California State Senate District and serves as Chair on the Elections and Constitutional Committee. His term on the State Public Works Board is a pleasure term with no compensation stated.

­Honorable William Monning, a Democrat from San Luis Obispo, has been appointed to the State Public Works Board.

The Honorable Mike McGuire, a Democrat from Healdsburg, has been appointed to the Western States Legislative Forestry Task Force and to the Sea Grant Advisory Panel.

The Honorable Tony Mendoza, a Democrat from Artesia, has been appointed to the Commission for Economic Development.
