The Los Angeles Dodgers will offer numerous promotions from Friday, Aug. 28 through Wednesday, Sept. 2 during the club’s 11th homestand of the season.
“Friday Night Fireworks presented by Denny’s” will be held on Aug. 28 after the 7:10 p.m. game against the Cubs. The Dodgers offer postgame fireworks shows after every Friday home game. Additionally, “Social Media Night” will be held on Aug. 28. A $45 special event ticket package that includes a ticket to the game and a Dodger Social Media Night T-shirt.
The Dodgers will present the “Cy Young Collectors’ Pin Series: Orel Hershiser” giveaway during the Aug. 29 game at 6:10 p.m. vs. the Cubs. The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive the sixth of eight Cy Young collectible pins.
The Dodgers will also host its 16th annual “Jewish Community Day” on Aug. 30 during the 5:08 p.m. vs. the Cubs. The team is offering a ticket package that includes a ticket to the game and a voucher for a Dodgers-in-Hebrew T-shirt. In addition to Jeff’s Gourmet Kosher stand on the field level, a second kosher stand will be located on the reserve level behind section 37. A limited number of tickets for Jewish Community Day are available and can be purchased at www.dodgers.com/jewish. To receive the commemorative shirt, fans must purchase the ticket package online.
Also during the Aug. 30 game, headphones will be presented to the first 40,000 fans in attendance, and “Viva Los Dodgers” will begin at 3 p.m. at the historic Union 76 station at Dodger Stadium. The celebration will feature live musical entertainment by Hector Guerra and Viva Mas, and a folklorico performance by the SDS Dance Studio. For information, visit www.dodgers.com.
