West Hollywood is calling all dog lovers to join in the fun at PAWSAPALOOZA, a family- and dog-friendly festival that celebrates all things canine. This year’s 3rd annual PAWSAPALOOZA will take place on Saturday, Aug. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at West Hollywood Park, located at 647 N. San Vicente Blvd. The festival is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the adjacent five-story parking structure for a fee. Dogs are welcome and encouraged to attend — leashes are required.

The festivities will begin with a morning dog walk followed by a myriad of activities for the entire family to enjoy. There will be a costume contest with prizes and celebrity judges. There will also be

a search-and-rescue demonstration, as well as agility and Frisbee demonstrations. The event will feature booths with dog-friendly products and services, free giveaways, and a selection of food trucks serving up a variety of food, drinks, snacks and goodies. There will be fun activities for kids, including face painting and balloon artists.
