The Natural History Museum’s (NHM) invites people to attend the museum’s newest summer series, “Nature Gardens”, on July 10 and 24 and Aug. 7 and 21. “Nature Gardens” will feature music, garden-inspired cocktails, hands-on garden and science projects, botanical tours and food trucks.
DJ Francesca Harding will be playing music from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Jarell Perry and Deebs will be performing from 7 to 9 p.m.
The “Nature Gardens” workshops include a hands-on pickling demonstration led by food writer Emily Han, a nature screen-printing workshop led by Self Help Graphics and a bee hotel building workshop with NHM entomologists.
Additionally, museum guests can get nature questions answered by garden and citizen science experts, as well as talk about water-wise solutions for the ongoing drought.
