As the new operator of the Greek Theatre, the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks announced a lottery for talent seeking to perform at the venue for the 2016 season.

The department is inviting all interested concert and event promoters, talent agents and artists to enter the booking lottery at 9 a.m. on July 16 at the Friendship Auditorium at 3201 Riverside Drive. Lottery registration will be held until 11 a.m. All applicants must be present and have their completed booking application available for submission. No registration will be accepted after 11 a.m., according to a release from the Department of Recreation and Parks.

After 11 a.m., all applications must be submitted by email to [email protected] and will be assigned a hold position based on the order of date and time the application was received.

The Representatives of Recreation and Parks department were unavailable for comment.
