Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Bureau Homicide Unit are investigating a murder that occurred early on June 17 in the Wilshire Division.
At approximately 3:35 a.m., officers from the LAPD’s Wilshire Division responded to a call about shots being fired in the 1700 block of Longwood Avenue, just south of Venice Boulevard. The arriving officers discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Authorities identified the victim as Kehende Lang, 25, of Los Angeles.
