In honor of Memorial Day, Laura Herzog, founder and CEO of Honoring Our Fallen, recently spoke at an observance at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM), presented by the FIDM Chapter of Student Veterans of America (SVA). FIDM SVA president, Sgt. Trinidad Garcia led the ceremony, complete with a U.S. Marine Corps color guard and a balloon release, honoring fallen soldiers. Garcia is a machine gun section leader in the Marines and a current FIDM student, studying Apparel Industry Management.Dedicated to serving fallen military members and their families, Southern California-based Honoring Our Fallen provides comprehensive support within 24 hours of notification by local, state or federal officials of a loved one’s passing. Honoring Our Fallen supports families by being a calming force in the face of chaos, allowing the family to mourn their grief.
