Flowers were placed on the Hollywood Walk of Fame star of B.B. King last Friday to commemorate the music legend’s passing on May 13. His star is located at 6771 Hollywood Boulevard.
The singer and guitarist, who is credited with bringing blues influence from the Mississippi Delta to Carnegie Hall, was a 15-time Grammy Award winner. He died peacefully in his sleep, according to his family.
The flowers are placed on the stars on behalf of the Hollywood community by the Hollywood Historic Trust, a nonprofit organization.
