Marty Geimer, president of the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors Charitable Foundation, has announced that the foundation is offering scholarships twice a year.
The Charitable Foundation is a non-profit organization formed in 2003 by the Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors (BH/GLAAR) that provides scholarships to worthy students and organizations, made possible through donations from BH/GLAAR members.
The program aims to support the realtors of tomorrow by providing scholarships of $250 to $1500 to high school and undergraduate students who are planning to pursue a career in real estate. Award amounts will be based on financial need.
“We know first-hand what an exciting and invigorating career choice it is and we look forward to helping qualified students on their journey,” Geimer said.
The deadline to submit applications for the spring program is April 30. The deadline for fall applications will be announced later this year. For information, call Selina Vazquez at (323)556-9820, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.bhglaar.com.
