The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for outstanding individuals, businesses or nonprofits that have made an extraordinary contribution to the Hollywood community.

Submissions are being accepted through April 3 at 4 p.m. for the Heroes of Hollywood awards. Nominations can be sent to 7018 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood, CA, 90028, faxed to (323)469-2805 or emailed to marina@hollywoodchamber.net.

The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, May 28 at the Taglyan Cultural Complex, 1201 Vine St. The reception will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the luncheon and awards program at noon. The Heroes of Hollywood Luncheon, which officials said is still in need of more sponsors, serves as one of two major fundraisers for the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of Hollywood community members. All funds raised from the luncheon will be awarded in the form of grants to local community organizations.
