For one night only on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:30 p.m., Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre will offer an exclusive showing of Disney’s “Newsies”.
The event will be attended by special guests from the motion picture and national tour of the Broadway musical.

“Newsies” is a 1992 musical based on the New York City newsboy strike of 1899 and tells the story of a courageous group of newsboys, who become heroes when they team up to fight an unscrupulous newspaper tycoon.
Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and directed by choreographer Kenny Ortega in his film directing debut. It features twelve original songs — music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Jack Feldman and original underscore by J.A.C. Redford. The film stars Christian Bale, David Moscow, Bill Pullman, Robert Duvall and Ann-Margret. “Newsies” is rated PG.
