The Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) arrested a man for attempted robbery at a SoulCycle location in the city.
According to BHPD officials, on Feb. 4, at approximately 7:45pm, a lone male suspect entered SoulCycle in the 9400 block of Wilshire Boulevard.
The suspect was wearing a mask to conceal his face and simulated a handgun when he demanded money and was ordering patrons and employees to the ground, which caused patrons to flee. The suspect then fled from the location without any money or property.
BHPD officers were on the scene in less than 60 seconds, officials said, when they were waived down by an alert witness who pointed out the suspect. Ashot Danielyan, 33 and considered a transient, was taken into custody by officers on Wilshire Boulevard and Beverly Drive without incident.
