Detectives are still investigating the murder and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
The reward announcement, including the amount, will be made at a press conference on Thursday, Feb. 5, at 2:30 p.m. at the Wilshire Community Police Station at 4861 W. Venice Blvd. LAPD Commander Beatrice Girmala of Operations West Bureau, LAPD Wilshire Area Capt. Howard Leslie, West Bureau homicide detectives and friends of Yager will be present.
