West Hollywood’s general municipal election will be held on Tuesday, March 3 and the deadline to register to vote is Feb. 17.

The election will fill three seats on the West Hollywood City Council for four-year terms commencing in March 2015.

Residents can register online to vote. There is a link to register to vote on the city’s website at www.weho.org/elections, which goes to the California Secretary of State’s voter registration page to register online. Voters must be 18 years of age, a United States citizen and a resident of California. Potential voters will need a California driver license, the last four digits of their social security number and their date of birth to complete registration. There are alternative methods to register through the California Secretary of State’s Office for those people who do not have an ID.

The vote-by-mail period begins on Monday, Feb. 2 and ends on Tuesday, Feb. 24. Vote-by-mail ballots will be mailed directly to individuals who complete the application.
