Breakfast with Santa
Come enjoy a festive meal with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the Richstone Family Center. This annual event is from 9 to 11 a.m. and provides gifts and fun “together time” for families in need. More than 400 children and their families, individuals, companies, and organizations donated toys, clothing, and supplies for the event last year. Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Patina Catering is offering breakfast with Santa with an extravagant buffet, children activity areas with cookie decorating and gifts. The Los Angeles Music Center guests will enjoy house cured and smoked Skuna Bay salmon, Cowgirl Creamery cream cheese, pickled red onions, organic lemons, chives, and bagels from the Bagel Broker. The Rockefeller National Sangria Day
On Saturday, December 20, The Rockefeller is offering a $16.95 bottomless deal on its house-made sangria. Swing by during brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or again from 5 p.m. to closing, and enjoy all-you-can-drink with the purchase of food. On Dec. 20, Napa Valley Grille will celebrate this festive day by serving a red apple orchard sangria prepared with brandy, cinnamon sticks, and apple juice. Mr. C. Christmas in Beverly Hills
For the entire month of December, guests can cozy up in the Lobby Lounge next to the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, listen to live music, and enjoy mugs of Vin Brulè, an Italian version of hot spiced wine, and bowls of roasted chestnuts every evening from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. for $14 per person. Guests will enjoy the Christmas festivities with traditional Venetian feasts of four-courses for $85 per person. On Christmas Eve, the restaurant will pay homage to the Italian “Feast of the Seven Fishes” with a variety of seafood dishes, such as a trio of marinated salmon, octopus, and tuna tartar and wild branzino. On Dec. 19, the restaurant is celebrating its third anniversary by preparing braised beef cheeks. On Christmas Eve, they will serve a special three-course dinner for $65. Lemonade Holiday Menu
All twelve locations in Southern California will offer a holiday menu through the New Year. Those who don’t want to fuss in the kitchen can order savory and sweet holiday items from the fast-casual, modern cafeteria-style eatery. BOA Steakhouse Sunset and Santa Monica locations presents a Niman Ranch Prime Rib as the Christmas Eve special on Wednesday, Dec. 24. On New Years Eve, BOA Steakhouse Sunset will offer a $95 prix-fixe menu from 5 to 9 p.m. for the early seating. Delphine Eatery + Bar Holiday Menus
The chefs at Delphine at the W Hotel will prepare a holiday-inspired menu for $67 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The first course will include a blood orange and persimmon salad or apple and fennel soup with black truffle, and crab beignets. The second course features Dungeness crab ravioli or steamed organic egg custard. The third course is a grilled prime sirloin or glazed tagliatelle with Brussels sprouts or pan roasted white bass with brown butter roasted squash, pork belly, baby onions, and apple glaze. There will also be a specialty dessert course. Delphine Eatery + Bar will host a New Years Eve party from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with tickets available for purchase in advance for $100, including an open bar and house music. Kendall’s Brasserie will be serving Galette des Rois, more commonly known as King’s Cake. Lyon-raised Chef Jean Pierre Bosc prepares this French holiday tradition perfect to share with friends and family. The cake features layers of crisp puff pastry filled with frangipane, made from almond and vanilla pastry cream. A trinket or almond is baked inside the cake. The lucky guest who finds it will not be charged for the sweet treat. The city’s iconic dining destination overlooking the Marina invites guests to celebrate the holidays with festive three-course prix-fixe menus of rustic cuisine. Executive Chef Chuck Abair pairs elements of land and sea in dishes such as black truffle pasta with confit turkey, and crispy octopus with fennel, mushrooms, arugula, and chipotle aioli. Abair offers a selection of festive desserts, including eggnog crème brûlée with gingerbread cookies and pumpkin bread pudding with pumpkin brittle and tres leches sauce.
