The Multicultural Motion Picture Association (MMPA) and the American Society of Young Musicians (ASYM) are hosting the annual Hollywood Celebrity Toy Drive Extravaganza on Wednesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.
Guests are encouraged to bring new and unwrapped toys valued at $20 or more. Raffles, giveaways and a complimentary dessert bar will be held. There will also be numerous celebrity appearances.
“This is one of our most inspiring events during the year,” MMPA president Jarvee Hutcherson said. “Most celebrities are eager to find ways to give back to the community and that is exactly what this event is all about. In the last 15 years, celebrities like Louis Gossett Jr., Taraji P. Henson, Sandra Oh, George Loukas, Dwayne Johnson, Queen Latifah, Gwyneth Paltrow and more have attended our event.”
The evening will benefit underprivileged children from Los Angeles County Social Services, Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and Toys for Tots. Raleigh Studios is located at 5300 Melrose Ave. For information, call (310)497-4554, or email bdalymmpa@gmail.com.
