The Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) 5K Move It! Challenge and Health Festival was held at Dodger Stadium on Nov. 22, with more than 6,000 participants in attendance.

Thousands of students, faculty and the community at large (open to the public) came to help raise awareness about the importance of healthy living and exercise.

Money was raised for the schools and LAUSD’s wellness centers. The wellness centers serve students, their families and community members district-wide. They offer free health and wellness programs and services, along with primary prevention education, connection to career pathway programs and parent education.
