The UCLA color guard performed at the Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday at the Sal Guarriello Veterans’ Memorial in West Hollywood to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have served the country. Dozens of residents and local veterans attended, including the West Hollywood City Council, Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA), Erin Huey, a retired U.S. Army attack helicopter mechanic and Tsetsilva Matusova, who served as a nurse in Russia’s army. A donation drive was held in conjunction with the event to benefit local service organizations to assist local veterans.
