Christ the King School cut the ribbon on the school’s new Montessori transitional kindergarten classroom at the school campus near Melrose and Rossmore avenues last Friday.
Prior to this year, Christ the King School transitional kindergarten students shared a classroom with traditional kindergarten students.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Los Angeles City Councilman Tom LaBonge, 4th District, presented the school with a proclamation and the transitional kindergarten students displayed their singing skills with a rendition of “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands” (pictured).
The school is located at 617 N. Arden Blvd. For information, call (323)462-4753 or visit www.cksla.org.
