The U.S Air Force has announced that Airman Adan S. Velasquez has graduated from basic military training in San Antonio.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Velasquez is the son of Moises A. Velasquez and Lourdes M. Mendez of Los Angeles, and is a 2009 graduate of Hollywood High School.
