Korean Churches for Community Development (KCCD) and the 1736 Family Crisis Center are providing free computer classes to low-income residents. Computer classes will cover basic introductory courses on how to use the Internet, and Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and more.
Classes will be offered once a week on Tuesdays beginning on Aug. 26. Classes in Spanish run from 10 a.m. to noon, and classes in English run from 3 to 5 p.m. Interested individuals must sign up for an appointment to register for classes, which will be held at the 1736 Family Crisis Center, 2116 Arlington Ave., Ste. 200.
