The 9th annual “Pirate Days Festival” will be held on Saturday, July 19 and Sunday, July 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ventura Harbor Village. The free festival attracts “pirates” of all ages who dress up for swashbuckling fun. This year’s theme is “Hook, Jack and Tinker”, with the introduction of a Tinker Bell costumed character who will meet with children. Also new this year are the “Pirate Wedding”, on July 19 at 11:15 a.m. at the Carousel Stage, and “Lunch with the Pirates”, on July 19 and July 20 at 11:45 a.m. at The Greek restaurant. Visitors are encouraged to capture a #PirateSelfie on Instagram for a chance to win $100 in Ventura Harbor Village gift cards. Treasure seekers will find pirate merchandise, pirate hats, swords, gifts, eye patches, flags and other items at village shops. Hungry crews can also choose from a variety of different cuisine at village restaurants, and enjoy live music and entertainment.
