A $50,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the identity, arrest and prosecution of the suspect or suspects responsible for the murder of 40-year-old Atilio Benavides-Amaya on Nov. 6.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., officers from the LAPD’s Rampart Division responded to a radio call of a shooting near 14th Street and Union Avenue. The victim was walking when an unknown suspect approached on foot and shot him several times at close range. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at (213)484-3639.
