Police in Beverly Hills have arrested two suspects who were allegedly involved in a burglary on Jan. 25.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., a security guard in the 1100 block of Calle Vista Drive reported an attempted burglary from a vehicle by unknown male suspects. The guard described the suspects’ vehicle as a large SUV, and provided the license plate number. Patrol officers responded to the scene but were unable to locate the vehicle.

On Jan. 26 at approximately 1 a.m., Beverly Hills police officers received another call from the same guard who advised that the vehicle had returned to the area. Minutes later, a patrol supervisor located the vehicle near Lomitas and Crescent drives, and pulled over the vehicle. The subsequent investigation led to the discovery of a loaded firearm, gloves and other evidence. The two occupants of the vehicle were subsequently arrested for robbery, conspiracy, vehicle tampering and possession of a loaded firearm. The suspects were identified as Nicholas Howel, 18 and Louis Taylor, 19, both of Los Angeles.
