Actress Jane Fonda’s contribution to Hollywood were set in stone last Saturday, when the “Coming Home” star had her hand and footprints enshrined in concrete in front of the TCL Chinese Theatre.
Her prints will be placed next to those of her father, Henry. Fonda’s acting career has spanned five decades and has garnered her two Academy Awards, an Emmy Award and three Golden Globes, among several other honors. However, she does not yet have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Saturday’s ceremony was held in conjunction with the 2013 TCM Classic Film Festival, which screened “On Golden Pond”, a film starring both Fonda and her father. Speakers were Fonda’s son, Troy Garity; comedian Lily Tomlin; and former California first lady and journalist Maria Shriver.
