“Brew” Jam Café
Chef/Owner Kamil Majer of the Blu Jam Café is creating a five-course tasting menu on April 3, to accompany beer expert Larry James, of the Belgian Brewer’s Guild in Brussels. This special evening is $49 per person and will feature an arugula salad with a Celis White beer. Majer’s pan roasted cauliflower soup is complemented with a Staropramen. A grilled barramundi will be served with an Affigem blonde brew and baby back ribs will be paired with a Uinta Hopnotch IPA. Spring into Sushi Roku Hollywood
A new Happy Hour menu offers diners a chance to drink and eat while never spending more than $6 an item. A wide selection of beer, sake, wine and cocktails are $5. Short Cake’s New Menu
Executive Chef Christina Page from Short Order collaborated with Walter Manzke and celebrity chef Nancy Silverton to create open-face toasts, salads, croissant sandwiches and savory baked-goods at Short Cake. What’s New at Roy’s
Chef Blaine Villasin has launched his Spring prix fixe three-course menu priced at $36.95 per person. Guests can choose from three appetizers including a pea salad with crispy pork, seared smoked salmon and Kalua pork dim sum. Public Kitchen & Bar
Starting tonight, Thursdays at Public will feature a special assortment of savory charcuterie and artisanal cheeses in addition to the regular menu. Charcuterie is $12 for one selection, $17 for three and $23 for five items. There will also be a chef’s hand-picked tasting board with a combination of meats and cheeses for $35. Featured wine, beer, whiskey and aged rum are offered at $7 to $13. Dinner is 5:30 p.m. to midnight. Rock Star Opens Restaurant
Gene Simmons is launching a new dining and entertainment venture in El Segundo. Rock & Brews opens on April 3. City Tavern Celebrates 1 Year
On April 3 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., City Tavern will serve a champagne with cherry bitters for $9 along with a Tavern sampler board with shrimp and grit poppers, house pickled veggies, mini pimento cheese, pulled pork one bites and grilled vegetable roulades with smoked salt. After 10 p.m. they will offer a selection of craft cocktails under $10.
